I am a Belgian author and illustrator. I love to try out a lot of techniques and to play with contrasting shapes and colours. When I see children reading my books, putting their little fingers on the animals and laughing, it makes me feel happy and I want to make even more childrenbooks. But I also make other works meant for adults, those are more paintings and engravings. My universe is rather poetic with a touch of humor.

I studied in several Schools of Art : Bachelor at Saint-Luc Brussels, Master at Luca of Arts Ghent and an I did an Erasmus at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna, Italy.   I am also a teacher and did my teachertraining at La Cambre / Ecole nationale supérieure des arts visuels.

My book ‘Crocodile is hungry’ was awarded the Key Colours Illustrator’s Award 2014.
